The defendant below and appellant herein, Shirley Blaniar Luke (hereinafter referred to as "Ms. Luke"), appeals from an order entered December 18, 2007, by the Circuit Court of Harrison County. By that order, the circuit court denied Ms. Luke's motion to alter or amend judgment and motion for a new trial.
