¶ 1 A jury convicted Marcus Anthony Chouinard of first degree unlawful possession of a firearm. Because the State demonstrated Chouinard's mere proximity to the weapon and his knowledge of its presence in the vehicle, we reverse Chouinard's conviction for insufficient evidence and therefore do not reach his other arguments.1
