¶1 After a two-day trial, a jury convicted Miguel David Gedo on two counts of sexual battery. But it was later discovered that the trial court lost—or never made—the audio recording of the trial. Based largely on the lack of a transcript, the trial court granted Gedo's request for a new trial....
