James F. Russell appeals his conviction for first-degree criminal sexual conduct (CSC) with a minor. He argues the circuit court erred in admitting the victim's (Child) prior consistent statement pursuant to section 17-23-175 of the South Carolina Code (Supp.2008), because it improperly bolstered Child's testimony and because its probative value was substantially outweighed by its prejudicial impact.
