¶ 1 Charles S. Renchenski (Appellant) appeals from the order denying his petition for relief filed under the Post Conviction Relief Act (PCRA), 42 Pa.C.S. §§ 9541-9546. Appellant claims that the trial court erroneously determined that the extraordinary time delay in this case prejudiced the Commonwealth's ability to retry the case, thereby warranting dismissal of the petition pursuant to 42 Pa.C.S. § 9543(b).
