Plaintiff was an intern at defendant's chimpanzee sanctuary. Before starting her internship, plaintiff signed a waiver releasing defendant from liability for "all claims for death, personal injury, or property damage" arising out of her participation at the sanctuary, including liability arising from negligence or carelessness.
