This is an appeal from judgments in two consolidated criminal cases in which defendant was convicted of driving under the influence of intoxicants (DUII), ORS 813.010, and driving while suspended (DWS), ORS 811.182. The charged conduct occurred on September 7, 1999; defendant was not brought to trial until January 9, 2009.
