{¶ 1} Relator, Darrita Davis, filed this expedited elections case seeking a writ of mandamus to compel respondent, the Summit County Board of Elections, to place her name on the November 5, 2013 ballot as an independent candidate for Akron City Council. Because Davis has established her entitlement to extraordinary relief, we grant the writ.
