{¶ 1} Defendant-appellant Deshaun Bates appeals his conviction and sentence for three counts of aggravated robbery, in violation of 2911.01(A)(1), all felonies of the first degree; one count of kidnapping, in violation of R.C. 2905.01(A)(2), a felony of the second degree; and one count of felonious assault, in violation of R.C. 2903.11(A)(2), a felony of the second degree.
