OPINION

DONOVAN, J.

{¶ 1} Defendant-appellant Michael S. Cruea appeals his conviction and sentence for one count of rape, in violation of R.C. 2907.02(A)(1)(b), a felony of the first degree, and two counts of gross sexual imposition, in violation of R.C. 2907.05(A)(4), both felonies of the third degree. Cruea filed a timely notice of appeal with this Court on March 30, 2012.
