DONOVAN, J.

{¶ 1} This matter is before the Court on the Notice of Appeal of Brian Hawkins, filed December 30, 2011. Hawkins was convicted following a jury trial on one count of domestic violence, in violation of R.C. 2919.25(A), a misdemeanor of the first degree, and he was found not guilty of one count of abduction. The trial court sentenced Hawkins to 180 days in jail.
