{¶ 1} Defendant-appellant, Charles J. Rhodes, appeals his aggregate eighteen-year sentence for two counts of Felonious Assault and one count of Kidnapping. The issue before this court is whether the trial court abused its discretion in imposing an eighteen-year sentence given the alleged mitigating circumstances present in this case and the minimal likelihood of recidivism.
