{¶ 1} On September 17, 2004, Appellant Derrick Norris pled guilty to one count of murder with a firearm specification, one count of aggravated robbery, and one count of tampering with evidence. The trial court sentenced Appellant to an aggregate term of 33 years to life in prison.
