HUTZEL, J.

{¶1} Defendant-appellant, Bank of America, appeals the judgment of the Butler County Court of Common Pleas denying its motion to vacate a default judgment in favor of plaintiff-appellee, First Financial Bank. For the reasons outlined below, we reverse the decision of the trial court.
