{¶1} Raising six assignments of error, defendant-appellant Dion Jackson appeals from his convictions, following a jury trial, for the felonious assault and murder of William Champion. Jackson, a guest at a birthday party, quarreled with Champion, brawled with him in an apartment building hallway, and shot Champion during the struggle. He then fled downstairs, stopped, and returned to finish Champion...
