In an action, inter alia, to recover damages for false arrest, the plaintiff appeals from (1) an order of the Supreme Court, Queens County (Joseph J. Esposito, J.), entered October 17, 2019, and (2) an order of the same court entered January 23, 2020. The order entered October 17, 2019, insofar as appealed from, granted those branches of the defendants' motion pursuant to CPLR 3211(a) which were to dismiss the first cause of action, which alleged false arrest and false imprisonment...
