Defendant pleaded guilty to attempted criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree. Pursuant to the terms of the plea agreement, defendant purportedly waived the right to appeal and executed a written waiver in open court. Defendant failed to appear for sentencing and a bench warrant was issued. When defendant eventually appeared, County Court sentenced her, as a second felony offender, to three years in prison, to be followed by three years of postrelease...
