The plaintiff allegedly was injured when he tripped and fell over a rolled-up carpet on the floor in a store owned and operated by the defendants. In May 2017, the plaintiff commenced this action to recover damages for personal injuries. Thereafter, the defendants moved for summary judgment dismissing the complaint.
