Defendant failed to register his change of address within 10 days after he moved to the Town of Stephentown, Rensselaer County, as required by the Sex Offender Registration Act (see Correction Law §§ 168-f [4]; 168-t). He waived his right to prosecution by indictment and was charged by superior court information (hereinafter SCI) with the crime of failure to register as a sex offender. He pleaded guilty to this crime in full satisfaction...
