Defendant was indicted on charges of murder in the second degree, manslaughter in the first degree, and two counts of robbery in the first degree. Defendant negotiated a guilty plea to manslaughter in the first degree and one count of robbery in the first degree, and was sentenced to concurrent prison terms of 25 years and five years of postrelease supervision.
