MICHAEL H. MELKONIAN, J.

In 1986 defendant was convicted after trial in Kings County of the violent felonies of robbery in the first degree and robbery in the second degree. He was sentenced on each count to an indeterminate term of imprisonment of 31/3 to 10 years, with those sentences to run concurrently with each other.

Defendant was released on parole and in 1992 he was arrested again and indicted for two counts of robbery...
