The Petitioner, the Sheriff of Wayne County, commenced this action by filing a Notice of Petition and a "Petition and Complaint" in the Wayne County Clerk's Office on July 7, 2008. Petitioner seeks $93,447 representing longevity increments allegedly due to him annually since 1983.
