Plaintiff, a Senegalese artist and lawyer, has lived in New York since Plaintiff explains that he has enjoyed success as an artist in New York, a lawyer in Senegal and a legal advisor to the United Nations. In addition, plaintiff claims that he is a member of a well known Senegalese family. Based on this and other factors, he contends that he is something of a public figure.
