This appeal arises out of a dispute between plaintiff Accelerated Framing, Inc. and defendant Eagle Ridge Builders, Inc. over a contract to perform carpentry work on property located in Banner Elk, North Carolina. Eagle Ridge appeals from the trial court's award of damages to Accelerated Framing on its breach of contract claim, contending primarily that Accelerated Framing is not the real party in interest.
