After a jury trial, Joseph Saigh and Lawrence Wells (hereafter defendants) were found liable for innocent or negligent misrepresentation and constructive and actual fraud. The jury returned a verdict of $1,282,575 in compensatory and exemplary damages and, subsequently, the trial court entered a judgment against defendants in the same amount.
