In the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, Shailendra Kumar, M.D., P.A. ("Dr. Kumar"), the appellant, sued Anand M. Dhanda, M.D., the appellee, in two counts, for breach of contract and breach of a covenant not to compete contained in the same contract. The pertinent contract included a mandatory non-binding arbitration clause. Dr. Dhanda moved to dismiss the complaint on the ground that the claims were barred by the applicable statute of limitations...
