This case, which is before us for the second time, presents a narrow legal question and one of first impression in this State. At appellant's second trial, held in August 2008, Jeffrey Edward Allen, appellant, was convicted by a jury in the Circuit Court for Charles County of first-degree felony murder and sentenced to life imprisonment.
