Dustin Price was convicted as charged of second degree cruelty to juveniles in violation of La. R.S. 14:93.2.3 after a jury trial. Price was subsequently adjudicated a fourth-felony habitual offender and received a sentence of 24 years at hard labor, without benefit of probation, parole or suspension of sentence. Price challenges his conviction and habitual offender adjudication. The State of Louisiana has appealed the sentence. We affirm the conviction...
