In 1996, defendant, Kendrick Tremell Williams, was arrested and charged with carnal knowledge of a juvenile. He pled guilty to indecent behavior with a juvenile and was sentenced to three years at hard labor. Upon his release from prison, he was required to register as a sex offender in accordance with La.
