The defendant, James Leonard Moore, was charged by bill of information with simple burglary, a violation of La. R.S. 14:62. He pled not guilty. Pursuant to a plea offer, the defendant withdrew his former plea and pled guilty. Prior to sentencing, the defendant retained new counsel, who filed a motion to withdraw his guilty plea.
