Virginia Roberts's late husband, Lester Roberts, died while a patient at Gwinnett Hospital System, Inc. d/b/a Gwinnett Medical Center ("the Hospital"). Roberts brought a professional negligence and wrongful death action against the Hospital and Dr. Mourad Nessim, who provided medical care to the decedent.
