On May 8, 2019, a jury convicted Gregory Lepera of boating under the influence manslaughter. Because we find that the trial court abused its discretion in excluding all expert opinions offered by Dr. Ling Lu, a biomechanical engineer, we reverse and remand for Lepera to receive a new trial.
