This is an appeal and a cross-appeal from a final judgment on a jury verdict awarding the appellant, Sean St. Louis, $72,241 in lost wages and $2.5 million in compensatory damages on state law racial discrimination and retaliation claims, brought by him against his former employer, Florida International University (FIU), the appellee here.
