Jon Daza brings this action to recover damages for injuries he sustained on May 20, 2010, when a crane block weighing at least a ton tipped over and crushed his left leg. The crane block was located on a barge, the "Uncle Leo," one of three barges owned by Daza's employer, Pile Foundation Construction Company, Inc. ("Pile"). The barge was moored in the East River to assist in an East River Park construction project...
