This is an intrafamily dispute between a 96 year old grandfather, Allan A. Ash ("Ash"), who lives in New York, and his grandson, Geoffrey A. Richards ("Richards"), who lives and works in Chicago, Illinois, over a $950,000 check that Ash sent from New York to Richards in Chicago. Richards deposited the check in his bank in Illinois.
