This case began in March 2009. At that time, Plaintiff Antonio Lee Blanchard, an inmate incarcerated at Shawnee Correctional Center, named as Defendants former Chicago Police Superintendent Jody Weis and Detective Steve Tanaka. Plaintiff alleged that, on February 7, 2008, excessive force was used during his arrest by unknown Chicago officers, he was falsely accused of robbery, Detective Tanaka denied Plaintiff...
