The basis for this case rests on four letters sent by Defendant Northland Group, Inc. to Marilyn Berger roughly between August 15 and November 16, 2010. Defendant is a debt collector and sent the letters in an attempt to collect on a debt allegedly owed by Marilyn Berger.
