Plaintiff Sebrite Agency, Inc. ("Sebrite") is a small insurance agency located in Minnetonka, Minnesota. Defendant Arthur Platt worked as an agent for Sebrite. Defendant Denise Wishcop is Platt's girlfriend. Platt was fired by Sebrite in 2011, after Sebrite learned that Platt had established a competing agency for the purpose of stealing Sebrite's clients.
