I. INTRODUCTION

Plaintiff Brenda J. Owens ("plaintiff") filed this lawsuit alleging wrongful termination in violation of the Family Medical Leave Act of 1993 ("FMLA"), 29 U.S.C. § 2601 through § 2654.
