INTRODUCTION

On August 21, 2008, the home of Plaintiffs Richard and Patricia Martin ("the Martins") was significantly damaged in a fire. They filed a claim with their insurer, Defendant State Farm Fire and Casualty Company ("State Farm"), which denied it.
