A two-count indictment was filed against the defendant, James Lee McGowan, on December 10, 2009, charging him with felon and fugitive in possession of a firearm and ammunition, in violation of 18 U.S.C. §§ 922(g)(1), 922(g)(2), and 924(a)(2).
