On June 2, 2008, the government filed an Information charging the defendant Jaye Mirza ("Mirza") with 13 counts of Wire Fraud in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1343. Later that month, Mirza pled guilty and, in October of 2008, was sentenced to six months in custody, 24 months of supervised release and was ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $306,728.
