This case presents an interesting choice of law question—whose law should the Court apply when the forum state (Kentucky) has minimal interests and the competing state (Illinois) does not have much of an interest either. While at first blush, this appears to be a difficult question, if Kentucky's presumption for its own law means anything, it means that a court must apply Kentucky's law...
