This is an action pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983 by plaintiff, Scott A. Stickley, who was formerly employed as a police officer for the Town of Strasburg, Virginia ("the Town"), against defendants, the Town, its Chief of Police, Tim Sutherly, and the Town Manager, Kevin Fauber. Stickley claims that defendants terminated his employment in violation of the First and Fourteenth Amendments in retaliation...
