This declaratory judgment action is a dispute over whether the plaintiff-insurer has a duty to defend and indemnify the defendant-insured in a state court lawsuit currently underway. At issue is whether this action should be stayed in favor of the state case on grounds of the potential for entanglement of issues in the event that both state and federal matters proceed.
