The Court has reviewed a proposed class action settlement in a case brought by residents within two miles of the Zeon chemical plant (the "Proposed Class Settlement"). Recently, the Court conducted a hearing to help determine the fairness of the proposed settlement. The Court has also allowed an additional thirty (30) days for the residents to comment on or opt out of the proposed settlement...
