When a different company, Specialty Coatings, Inc., sought registration of a competing mark, "ARMORSTONE," StonCor opposed the registration, asserting a likelihood of confusion between ARMORSTONE and STONSHIELD and that ARMORSTONE is merely descriptive of Specialty Coatings' products.
