A jury found Gloria Sanchez guilty of witness tampering in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1512(b)(1), (2)(A). At sentencing, the district court1 applied an eight-level enhancement to her offense level for threatening physical injury to a person in order to obstruct the administration of justice.
