The York Group served Daniel Benefield with a subpoena to give evidence in its suit (pending in a federal district court in Texas) against Wuxi Taihu Tractor Company. Benefield neither complied nor moved to quash. After three months had passed, a district judge in Illinois (the proper venue, see Fed.R.Civ.P. 45(a)(2)(C)) enforced the subpoena.
