NEWMAN, Circuit Judge.

This appeal is taken from the final judgment of the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, on issues of patent infringement, validity, damages, and successor liability.1 The district court's judgment as to the patent issues is affirmed. We reverse as to successor liability, and remand for further proceedings on this issue.
